Of baluster shape. In typical Art-Déco Style with decorative geometrical symbols like waves, spirals, grids and garlands.

 To the front and back side a peace dove in a golden birdcage, to each side a golden bowl between golden leaves.

 The decoration in light blue, rosé, light rosé and ivory with rich gold decoration.

Of baluster shape. The bottom of the vase gilt-bronze-mounted. The body with a high relief of typical Art-Déco decor with flowers and fruits as well as garlands, decorated in light blue, ivory and rich gold decoration.

Sèvres Jungle Book Vase

 

Of baluster shape. Very fine and elegante polychrome and gold decoration of the “Jungle Book” with black panther “Bagheera” and the Indian rock python “Kaa” on the branches of a tree.

Exceptional Pair of Sèvres Vases of baluster shape. Light yellow-green fond. Decorated with red daisies, divided into five parts.

 At the upper part, the center, and the lower part, a circular border with stylized flowers.  

Decoration in grey, light green, green, pink, and light red.

Sèvres World Exhibition Vase

 

Exceptionally large Sèvres vase in baluster shape, over a round foot, mounted on a gilt-bronze foot, pierced in an asian manner. 

Celandon fond, decorated in the finest polychrome „Pâte-sur-Pâte“ technique. Asian decor with a battle scene of a snake and

an Eurasian spoonbill bird, between prunus serrula branches and blossoms, other asian flowers, as well as several butterflies.

This vase was exhibited at the World Exhibition (Exposition Universelle) 1867 in Paris. 

 

The body was signed: L. J. Gély.

Lapis Lazuli Sèvres Vase

 

Magnificent Large Sèvres Vase. Ovoid body over a round foot and conical expanding neck. Very fine and rich Ottoman style with arabesques, rosettes, oriental flowers and foliage, in dark blue and white over a spotted lapis lazuli ground. Fine gold decoration. 

The vase is mounted with gilt bronze with a pearl frieze.

Sèvres Vase Hibiscus 

Sèvres Vase

 

Highly important Royal Sèvres Vase of baluster shape with a concave neck and a round foot, mounted on a gilt bronze base.

Mint coloured fond, decorated with hibiscus flowers in purple and rosé as well as nigella flowers. The decoration was

executed in the finest quality in polychrome colors. The foot and the neck are decorated with circulating ornamental and

floral stylized borders and palmettes in dark brown, gold, and relief gold.

 

Inside the neck, Sèvres mark S90 and Sèvres mark Décoré à Sèvres.

Pair of Fontainebleau Vases

 

Of elegant rococo shape, standing on four volute feet. To each side a rich foliage and shell relief. The show sides decorated with fine pastoral scenes. Vase I (left) depicts a shepherdess during a rest, wearing elegant clothes, in front of her a dog. Next to her a flower basket is standing on a small pileVase II (right) depicts a shepherd during a rest, wearing elegant clothes, in front of him three sheep, 

behind him a goat. To each ide of the vases and the reverses very fine and rich flower bouquets. The decoration executed in elegant polychrome colors. Very rich gold decoration. Each vase with an open cover decorated with scattered flowers.

Minton Vase with Cover

 

Oval shape with curved handles and oak leave garlands to each side. Cover with flowers as knob. Vibrant sky-blue fond.  At the front and reverse cartouches. The front cartouche decorated with a finely executed mythological scene depicting  a semi-nude youth in

an idealized landscape after a painting by Franҫois Boucher. The reverse cartouche decorated with a still life of musical and artistic attributes, including sheet music, instruments and flowers symbolized the arts and reflects the cultural ideals of the period.

 The decoration executed in polychrome colors. Rich gold decoration.

 Ormoulu Mantel Clock 

 

On a Louis XV base, in form of a terrace with stair, a fine porcelain sculpture. On a natural base a sitting young woman, wearing elegant clothes. Next to her a young cavalier, wearing elegant clothes. Left and right to the porcelain group a young boy and a young girl in standing position. At the back side of the terrace a large branch with small branches, leaves and several porcelain blossoms.

 The circular white-enameled dial with Arabic chapter rings signed: Crosnier HGR du Roy, a Paris. Louis XV ormolu engraved and pierced scrolling strap work minute and hours hands. The porcelain with polychrome decoration and gold, made by the famous porcelain manufactory Edmé Samson, Paris.
